Doing the School Run

Had the dstinct pleasure of escorting my niece Aveena (aged 4, Hari's big sister) to school this morning. It was a bright sunny start and we had a very pleasant walk. Aveena's take on her daily stroll? "There's always a little bit of poo on Staunton Road but we don't mind do we Uncle Viren?" ... no sweetie, we don't mind at all.

Auf Wiedersehen Audi !

Oh well... two and half years and 27,000 miles (spookily, roughly the circumference of the Earth) of utterly trouble free, climate controlled motoring have come to an end. Two young Irish fellas bought it, stuck it on a trailer and have taken it to the West of Ireland. The buyer was from County Clare, I regaled him with my story of wild drunken-ness in Lisdoonvarna circa 1989 (sufficiently inebriated on Guinness that I failed to feel or recognise that I had broken my foot!). He nodded, smiled and no doubt thought "feckin eejut!"
The best car I have owned to date.

Photos !

Ok, that wasn't too painful.... and the results look quite "flash"
I said that I would get around to sorting out photo links for this blog and I seem to have delivered it quite quickly. Perhaps "committing" to the blog sharpens the focus? It that's the case, then:.......
1.Moving to Panama
2.Acquiring proficiency in Spanish
3.Setting up a Computer Networking Reseller supplying Latin America
4.Hiring and training some staff
5.Visiting everywhere from Mexico to Argentina
6.Splitting my time between Panama, the UK & India
.........
Shouldn't take very long at all !!
Might even find time for a bit of Salsa .....

Beautiful Boy !

Introducing Mr Hari Patel (age, 20 Months). My Nephew and the sweetest baby boy in the world. I haven't figured out how to link my blog to photo sites like flikr or buzznet yet so I am still uploading individual pictures rather than entire galleries but I'll get there eventually !
